The MAB project provides for funding with Erasmus plus funds (Call 2022) for an amount of 400,000 euros and with a duration of 24 months. It provides for the creation of a network between senior voluntary associations to share "best practices" for the support of young people who enter the world of work.
Cooperative 4 female empowerment in Madagascar
Starting in 2022, this project is the second phase of a larger project carried out since 2017 in the village of Ambalanjanakomby in Madagascar. It is therefore part of a wider intervention, planned and implemented by Seniores Italia Lazio, with which the expected results have been achieved, especially with regard to raising awareness of the population about new and more effective rural development activities, in a cooperative approach.
It is a vocational training course oriented towards job placement, which starts from a careful reading of the needs of both migrants - eager to become protagonists in Italian society - and companies looking for skilled workers. The pilot project is aimed at training 20 young people, to be started in the professions of bakers, pastry chefs and assistant cooks, professions for which there is a strong demand from the categories concerned.
